Do you have internships for students who are not majoring in a mining-related degree?
Yes and no. You’ll be surprised how many different majors are directly related to the mining industry. While our main focuses are mining and geology, we hire support positions in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, and more. Please view our list of current opportunities to see if we have an internship that meets your interests.

How long do your internships last?
We target a 10-12 week program for summer interns. Most interns start in early June and finish in mid-August.

Do you have opportunities for international students?
Yes. We have programs to sponsor visa applications and assist with travel arrangements for students who wish to participate in a summer internship or a vacation work assignment in the US. International students should follow the same on-line application process as US students. Any related visa eligibility information you can provide at the time of your on-line application assists us with the student visa application process.

Do you arrange housing and transportation to/from an assignment for your interns?
We will cover your flight to and from your assignment or reimburse you for the mileage driven at the beginning and end of the internship. Some of our sites arrange housing for interns while others will provide a housing allowance to help with lodging costs.
