Freeport Named Among Top 10 Most Transparent Companies in U.S.

December 12, 2025 - For the second consecutive year, Freeport was named one of the 10 most transparent companies in the United States in new rankings from Labrador Transparency, a global communications firm specializing in corporate disclosures.

Freeport ranked eighth overall in the assessment based on independent evaluations of corporate disclosure documents among companies listed in the S&P 500. The company also finished among the top three runners-up in the Materials category and for its Proxy Statement disclosures.

Freeport also finished eighth overall last year, its first time in the top 10.

Now in its seventh year, Labrador’s list recognizes S&P 500 companies that excel in building investor and stakeholder trust through clear, concise and effective communication, based on evaluations of corporate disclosure documents against 238 objective criteria focused on accessibility, precision, comparability, availability and clarity.
